The "Menudos Timplistas" concert closed the cultural program of the Casa-Museo del Timple. As has been happening since its inception, the event took place on the stage of the Santo Domingo convent in the Villa de Teguise at 12:00 noon last Sunday.
This year the students of the Toñin Corujo school, the Gabriel Cubas classroom and the students of José Vicente Pérez participated. A total of about 20 boys and girls and despite the nerves of going on stage and performing in front of their relatives, they gave their best, interpreting with great mastery each of the compositions that their teachers had chosen, a total of 14 themes such as The Anthem of Joy, Sons de Carrilloe, 250 Years Tribute to Beethoven, Nube de Hielo tribute to the Commissioner of the Casa-Museo, Benito Cabrera. Also some traditional Canarian songs such as Folías del Seis, Isa Punteada or Arrejálese Pa´ca ending with Let it be by Paul McCartney.

The Councilor for Culture, Nory Machín, present at the event, congratulated the students, teachers and parents "for the effort they are carrying out in these times that we are living so that culture continues forward" and announced that despite the restrictions in the first months of next year, the new program of the Casa-Museo will be presented with the advice of the Commissioner, Benito Cabrera.
