With great enthusiasm, the residents of the town of Mácher are participating in the activities programmed for the festivities in honor of San Pedro.

Last Monday, June 26, they attended the event to enjoy the concert of the "Agrupación Musical El Pavón de Tías." The twenty-two members, after taking a break once their festival ended, arrived with their batteries charged to please the numerous audience that had come to enjoy their songs.

Under the musical direction of Mel Reyes, they began their performance with an unpublished song composed by Mácher's neighbor Cecilio Morales entitled Mácher, continuing with a wide and very novel repertoire covering countless musical genres such as Habanera, Son Cubano, Guajira, Cueca, Ranchera and without forgetting the most traditional of Canarian music.

With a much more dynamic staging, the members of the Agrupación Musical El Pavón conquered the public, also making them participate in their songs, collaborating with applause and humming the refrains, highlighting the Isa Refranera, Amigo, Pica mi Caballo or No se Rajar. Another of the themes to highlight is the concert that was dedicated to the fighter of Mácher Rafaelín Cabrera entitled "Emigrant and Fighter", or to "la Isa", a Lanzaroteña.

New blood has been incorporated into the Agrupación Musical El Pavón with great enthusiasm to continue, so that the project created in 1992 by those young people from the municipality of Tías, remains over time as a sign of identity, leading the traditional and popular music.

When the moment of farewell and goodbye to a participatory audience arrived, they had to please them with several encores, thus putting the final touch to a concert where the good harmony of its members transcended the stage. And where the Agrupación Musical El Pavón de Tías infected with a novel repertoire and a staging.
