The artist from Huelva, Manuel Carrasco, will be the highlight of the Los Dolores festivities, as exclusively announced by La Voz. This Thursday, the program of festivities in honor of the patron saint of Lanzarote was officially presented, and the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Ayuntamiento de Tinajo have revealed some details of the singer's performance on the island.

The author of hits such as Qué bonito es querer (2018) or Ser uno mismo will begin his concert at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 15. As usual, the festivities are held next to the church of Los Dolores, in the town of Mancha Blanca, in Tinajo. It should be remembered that the following day, September 16, is an island holiday for Nuestra Señora de Los Volcanes.

The Andalusian artist, born in Isla Cristina (Huelva), Manuel Carrasco is a singer, composer, and musician who has achieved dozens of successes and rose to fame 22 years ago, in the second edition of the television talent show Operación Triunfo. In that edition, from the year 2002, Carrasco obtained the second position.

Currently, Carrasco accumulates 2.9 million monthly listeners and is one of the most important artists in current Spanish music.

The Cabildo de Lanzarote, the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism, Lanzarote Isla Diferente, and the Ayuntamiento de Tinajo collaborate in this event.
