The artist Juan Luis Guerra, world reference of Latin music (with 28 Latin Grammy awards), will headline the lineup of Lava Live Festival 2026. The singer of hits like La Bilirrubina, Ojalá que llueva café or El Niágara en bicicleta will perform on the island this summer. The Dominican singer performed for the last time on the island in 2008, when he offered a concert on El Reducto beach. Alongside him, the event has announced the Argentine artist Nathy Peluso, the Puerto Rican Nicky Jam and the also Argentine group K Personajes.
The event, which will be held on June 12 and 13, and July 24 and 25, will bring together during two weekends in Arrecife national and international top-level artists in a broad, transversal lineup designed for different audiences.
The complete lineup: Friday 12 and Saturday 13
On Friday, June 12, it will open with a proposal of marked rock and indie character, with Leiva, Iván Ferreiro and Molotov as big names, accompanied by Los Callaos and DJ Tali Arenao, also bringing local talent to the experience.
On Saturday, June 13, it will opt for a more transversal and generational profile, with Hombres G as the main attraction, along with Ke Personajes, La Cabra Mecánica, La Tom Son and DJ Nandy Paredes, on a day designed to connect different ages and styles.
Saturday 24 and 25 July
The second weekend will kick off on Friday, July 24 with one of the most powerful combinations on the lineup, headed by Juan Luis Guerra and Ana Mena, along with Juanma Restrepo (actor and singer who is part of the cast of La Reina del Flow), Ventura, Malpéis and Renzzo El Selector, in an event with a massive appeal and great attraction for both local and visiting audiences.
The closing will arrive on Saturday, July 25 with a day of strong urban and international character, led by Nicky Jam and Nathy Peluso, along with Club Grasa, Barry B, Rodrigo Fénix and Toni Bob, consolidating a contemporary and high-impact festival finale.
Nathy Peluso is known for hits like Savage or Atheist, the latter in collaboration with artist C. Tangana. For his part, Nicky Jam has garnered other hits like Mischief or Until Dawn.
New space and new experience
The event will also take a qualitative leap with the creation of the “Lava Live Stadium”, a new space that will be located on the esplanade next to the Cabildo de Lanzarote and that will allow accommodating up to 20,000 people per day, with better conditions of accessibility, mobility, and comfort for the public.
Alongside the musical proposal, the festival will incorporate for the first time its own gastronomic experience with the BOKA project, a concept promoted together with chef Germán Blanco that will focus on local and zero-kilometer products. The initiative will seek to convey to the public the essence of Lanzarote through cuisine, connecting the festival experience with the primary sector and the island identity.
Major economic bet
Lava Live Festival faces this new challenge after the great impact of the 2025 edition, in which it gathered more than 40,000 attendees, with 25% of the audience coming from outside the island, presence of visitors from 43 nationalities and an estimated economic impact of 14.3 million euros, consolidating itself as one of the main cultural events of the archipelago. For 2026, the organization has made an investment exceeding 5 million euros with the aim of continuing to raise the level of the event and its external projection.
The president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, framed the festival within the island's strategic commitment to culture as an economic and positioning engine, highlighting that initiatives like Lava Live allow diversifying the tourist offer and generating opportunities for the local productive fabric.
For his part, the mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, expressed his satisfaction that the capital hosts an event of this magnitude, pointing out that “it will mean a significant boost for trade, catering and the economic activity of the city, which during those days will become a cultural and social meeting point.”
In this same vein, the CEO of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, Ángel Vázquez, highlighted the importance of promoting projects that revert to Lanzarotean society and strengthen the island's external projection, also inviting residents and visitors from other islands to join this experience.
From the organization, the Preventos Media team highlighted the institutional support and the growth of the festival, assuring that “Lava Live is today a consolidated reality thanks to public-private collaboration and to the trust in Lanzarote's potential, and with the aim of continuing to generate positive impact on the island, bringing great artists who normally can only be seen outside and offering a complete experience that goes far beyond music”.
The festival will also maintain its commitment to accessibility and inclusion, with free admission for those over 65, adapted areas for people with reduced mobility, Orange Point, among others, reinforcing its commitment to an open, safe, and for all audiences event, in addition to a discount for cultural voucher and youth card.
Tickets are now available through the festival's official website (https://lavalivefestival.com/), with a special super pass, with different modalities and price ranges that will evolve as sales progress, so the organization recommends purchasing them in advance.
