The storm located north of the Canary Islands between Madeira and the Iberian Peninsula will bring rains that may be of moderate character and possible storms starting this Thursday in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. On this day, the storm will be located northeast of both islands, so the impact will be greater than in the rest of the archipelago.

However, the State Meteorological Agency has indicated that the storm will arrive at the islands very weakened, so its effects, in principle, will not be significant. So far, the Southwest Group, formed by Spain, France, Portugal, Belgium and Luxembourg, has not assigned any name to this storm.

Despite this, Aemet has activated the yellow warnings for wind and strong waves in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. The warning for adverse coastal phenomena will begin at 8:00 p.m. this Wednesday due to waves that could reach five meters in height. For its part, the wind warning will be activated at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday due to gusts that will reach 70 kilometers per hour.

For this Thursday, cloudy intervals are expected with probable weak to moderate rains. The appearance of storms in the interior and around Lanzarote and La Graciosa is not ruled out. Temperatures will have few changes, with minimums of 14 and maximums between 18 and 21 degrees. As for the wind, it will blow strong from the northwest, intensifying throughout the morning, with very strong gusts in inland areas.

On the day of Friday, Aemet forecasts that in the north Lanzarote will be cloudy with probability of weak to moderate rainfall. The possibility of storms will remain present, especially in the north zone. Temperatures will remain unchanged, with minimums of 13 and maximums between 18 and 21 degrees. The wind will blow moderate from the northwest.
