El Rancho de Pascuas de Teguise has presented the didactic resource book Rancho de Pascuas, by the author Maite Pozo, in collaboration with the group of the same name. This initiative seeks to highlight the cultural heritage of the municipality, as well as offer didactic material to families and teachers to teach its history in a playful way.
The mayoress of Teguise, Olivia Duque, highlights that, thanks to this material, boys and girls between the ages of six and eleven from educational centers throughout the Canary Islands will be able to learn more about the Rancho de Pascuas, a traditional group from the municipality.
The book will be provided by the Rancho de Pascuas de Teguise to schools that request it, as well as to families or individuals.
The Department of Culture of the Teguise City Council, coordinated by Javier Díaz, has collaborated in the publication. Next Sunday, December 24, as every year, the staging of the Mystery of the Birth of Jesus will take place in the Church of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe next to the Rancho Chico and its little angels at 11:00 p.m.
