The Haría City Council, through the Department of Festivals, announces that Peter Pan in Neverland is the winning allegory for the 2026 Carnival, after obtaining a total of 37 votes out of the 78 cast in a survey conducted among the northern population. The results obtained by The Playmobil World were 17, while the number of votes for The Vikings was 24.
The mayor, Alfredo Villalba, thanks the citizens for their participation in the election and points out the importance of involving neighbors in this type of initiative. "This theme will transport us to a world full of magic and a lot of fun," he points outFor his part, the Councilor for Festivals, Alberto de León, explains that "once the theme is defined, the City Council will begin preparations so that the new edition of the 2026 Carnival becomes a unique experience, designed to bring together neighbors and visitors in a celebration full of fun and cultural roots".
The Haría Town Council encourages the population to actively participate in the Carnival festivities in the north of Lanzarote through murgas, comparsas, and batucadas.
