The Arrecife City Council will celebrate throughout this year the 225th anniversary of the founding of the municipality. To mark this celebration, the institution has organised a concert by the Canarian singer Cristina Ramos, which will take place next Thursday, 4 January at 9.30 pm.

The singer Cristina Ramos, who has become known worldwide in recent years, after her great victory in 2016 in the programme Got Talent Spain, has a musical career with her own unique style combining different musical styles such as rock, boleros, funk and opera.

Cristina Ramos' performance, who recently won the programme La Voz México, will be at 9.30 pm on the big stage that the Town Hall has installed at the Arrecife City Christmas Fair, next to the Charco de San Ginés. Admission is free.

Navilan has been a success in terms of public attendance and appreciation by the citizens. The initiative of this Christmas fair, promoted by the Arrecife Town Hall, has been organised directly by the Department of Tourism and Commerce, headed by Councillor Eli Merino.

The Mayor, Yonathan de León, says that this concert by Cristina Ramos will be a great prelude to the long-awaited Three Kings' Night in the capital of Lanzarote. Every night, until 7 January 2024, the Arrecife Town Hall offers activities and musical performances aimed at all audiences.

Since its opening, Navilan has been visited by thousands of people, and every night the children, in particular, have been able to enjoy the shows organised by the Department of Tourism and Commerce of the Arrecife Town Hall, as part of the plans to boost the dynamisation of the capital of Lanzarote.

Navilan is organised directly by the Arrecife Town Hall and has the support and collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Tourist Centres of Lanzarote.

In addition, on 27 December, the institutional event to mark the start of the commemoration of the 225th anniversary of the founding of the municipality of Arrecife took place at the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz. This event featured a musical performance by Benito Cabrera, a prominent Canarian timplista who has toured the Canary Islands with Cristina Ramos, experiences successfully captured in a programme for Canarian Television.
