The town of Caleta Caballo, in the municipality of Teguise, has kicked off its festivities with the proclamation of Luis Bonilla.
Their proclamation was a success in attendance. With a close and emotional account, Bonilla recounted the history and evolution of the town, shared personal stories with the attendees, and named the families that have contributed to the development of this area of the island.
During their speech, he described the evolution of Caleta Caballo, from its humble beginnings to its current growth and development. He mentioned the arrival of asphalt, electricity, water, and tourism as a testament to the community's progress and resilience.
The festivities will extend from last August 27th, with the drawing of the Bowls Tournament, until next Sunday, September 7th, with water mats and the maritime procession of La Lapa.
