The city of Arrecife welcomed its third April Fair this Friday, May 2, with a day full of musical performances, dance, gastronomy and a festive atmosphere that filled the José Ramírez Cerdá Park with joy. The inaugural event featured the participation of MT Dance, Aires del Sur, Tatiana Niz, Eva Aroca, Toni Cantero, Ángela Luque and Aerial Circo, who opened a program designed for all audiences.

Hundreds of people came to the center of the capital to enjoy an afternoon-night in the purest Andalusian style. The public vibrated with the concerts of prominent artists such as María del Monte, Les Castizos, R.A.Y.A and Sevilla Gitana, on a stage decorated like an authentic fairground. Live music mixed with the flavor of rebujito, horse rides, gastronomic stands and nods to Lanzarote wine, in a day that reflected the multiculturalism of the city.

The mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, highlighted that "the April Fair, in addition to being a community celebration, boosts the local economy, attracting residents and tourists to the heart of our city." The Councilor for Tourism and Commerce, Eli Merino, stressed the importance of this type of event for leisure, hospitality and local commerce, remarking that "this year we encourage the entire population to breathe the fair from every corner."

The fair will continue this Saturday, May 3, with an equally lively program, in which a large influx is expected to enjoy more flamenco and sevillanas shows, equestrian exhibitions, the flamenco catwalk and the expected performance of Pitingo. The party continues in Arrecife, which for the second consecutive day will be filled with music, art and Andalusian tradition in the heart of the Lanzarote capital.
