The El Grifo winery hosted this Sunday the last Experience of small-format concerts of the Sonidos Líquidos festival. Around 250 people enjoyed the Biznaga show, while savoring wine references from the Island and local gastronomy.
"The Madrid band, cataloged by Vanitatis as one of the 25 most influential in Spain along with big names like Rosalía, Leiva, Quevedo or Vetusta Morla among others, made all attendees vibrate with a unique and powerful rock-punk. The atmosphere that was breathed in this second presentation concert was of pure explosion", has been reported in a press release.
"The public enjoyed an incredible musical experience and, in turn, combined it with a tasting of exquisite wines from Bodega El Grifo. References such as Ancestral Ecológico Malvasía Volcánica were paired with rich bites of a 100% vegan and KM0 gastronomic offer, prepared by V Factor, which left no one indifferent."
An experience to live with friends and family, since even the little ones enjoyed an educational workshop by MJC Ambiental, in which they created their own seed bombs and striking posters using natural flowers. The landscape, the colors and the use of natural materials framed an activity, where creativity and fun merged to learn the importance of caring for the environment in a playful way.
This Experience is cataloged as the most sustainable that Sonidos Líquidos has produced to date, thanks to the measures carried out by the organization, and the development project of Bodega El Grifo, whose objective is to achieve in 2025 that its wine production is 100% ecological.
Among the proposals with a sustainable seal that were carried out, the supply of renewable energy during the concert through the photovoltaic panels of the winery stands out; the offer of ecological products and zero kilometer dishes; and the strategic plan in terms of recycling.
In addition, the musical event took on a social nuance through the project "Sonamos Contigo". This initiative, promoted in conjunction with Grupo Chacón, seeks to support and give visibility to groups in the events of Sonidos Líquidos. On this occasion, the painting made by members of the El Cribo association and exhibited in the past edition of the festival in La Geria, once again starred in a space in El Grifo. And the creators of this painting attended the event to enjoy the experience and thus take a further step in social inclusion, as well as contribute to the construction of a more equitable and just society.
With all this, Bodega El Grifo became a multicultural enclave where music, art and gastronomy came together, in a sustainable way, to form a space of enjoyment and respect for both the environment and the community.
From the organization of the festival, they highlight the joint support of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Tourism of the Canary Islands, Tourism Lanzarote, Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism, City Council of Yaiza, Grupo TSC and the Canarian Institute of Cultural Development that contribute their grain of rofe in the musical and cultural proposal of the festival. In addition, they highlight the collaboration of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Vinos de Lanzarote, Grupo Chacón, Relaxia Resorts, Lumar Mantenimiento and Sonora.
The next Sonidos Líquidos event will be on the stage of La Geria, on June 10. Tickets for the festival are already sold out, for all those who wish to attend the event by bus, the organization has already put tickets on sale, which can be purchased through the website.
