The Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz in Arrecife was the stage chosen by the musician timplista Alexis Lemes to present his second album "MIACO" on Friday night, dedicated to his only daughter, Acoraida. It had the collaboration of two great musician friends such as Adrián Níz on guitar and Ivanoff Rodríguez on double bass.
This second album, which has 10 compositions, 7 of them have been created by Alexis himself and where he also wanted to include some classics such as Alfonsina y el Mar or the famous bolero Quizás, Quizás, Quizás. In this new album, Lemes' followers can see the great musical evolution he has achieved since his beginnings based on a lot of work. He has managed to put his own stamp on each of his compositions as well as his shows, which are totally different in terms of music and staging.
"MIACO" is a work where Lemes wanted the timple to take the lead, making its sounds much more acoustic where his personal stamp is much more defined. The audience filled the capacity of the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz. It was attended by the Councilor for Culture of the Arrecife City Council, Jimena Álvarez.
