The Court on duty in Santa Cruz de La Palma has initiated preliminary proceedings in the early hours of this Tuesday for an alleged crime of homicide in the Palmerian municipality of Breña Alta.
The deceased is a 32-year-old woman who, according to the Court's Communication Office, would have died from an inhalation of gases caused.
According to this same source and according to the first investigations, the alleged perpetrator of the events would be her mother.
The woman is hospitalized since she allegedly tried to take her own life in the same way by inhaling toxic gases after having ended her daughter's life.
