Tristán Tato, from the CIFP Zonzamas, gets a bronze in the national Professional Training championship

The student Tristán Tato Duque, from the Integrated Vocational Training Center (CIFP) Zonzamas, has achieved the bronze medal in the Renewable Energies specialty during the national SpainSkills 2026 competition, held from March 24 to 28 at IFEMA (Madrid).

SpainSkills is the national Vocational Training championship organized by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports of the Government of Spain, through the General Secretariat of Vocational Training, with the collaboration of various public and private entities. This competition brings together students from all over the country who, after passing the regional phases, demonstrate their technical preparation and professional skills in different specialties.

After the completion of the practical tests corresponding to his modality, Tristán Tato Duque obtained the bronze medal, a recognition that accredits his high level of technical qualification, as well as his
effort, dedication and and commitment to excellence.

The Higher Level training cycle in Renewable Energies, trains students to plan, promote, organize, assemble and maintain photovoltaic solar energy installations, wind energy and other electricity generation installations from renewable sources. It is a training linked to a strategic sector for energy transition and sustainable development. In Lanzarote, these studies are taught at CIFP Zonzamas, a center that stands out for its commitment to innovation and quality in Vocational Training.

Likewise, it is important to highlight the work of the student's tutor, Baldomero Cabrera Pérez, whose dedication and support have been fundamental in the preparation process for the competition. The joint work between students and teachers highlights the "center's commitment to continuous improvement and educational excellence in Vocational Training".

This achievement represents a recognition of the student's effort, the work of the teaching team, and the quality of Vocational Training taught in the Canary Islands, consolidating the role of these studies as a highly qualified training path with ample opportunities for employment.
