The Lanzarote and La Graciosa Chamber of Commerce has once again achieved excellence after the latest results of the Canary Islands Transparency Index for the year 2025 were published. The public law corporation has revalidated its score of ten out of ten, the maximum grade awarded by the Commissioner for Transparency and Access to Public Information of the Canary Islands, for the third consecutive year.

The score now published corresponds to the latest technical review carried out by the supervisory body, an exhaustive examination that meticulously evaluates the public information that institutions make available to citizens.

This evaluation is carried out mandatorily on all public administrations, public law corporations, such as professional associations or chambers of commerce, and any organization that receives public funds in the archipelago.

In the rigorous review by the Commissioner, the public availability of information, as well as the accessibility, clarity, and format of data publication, are analyzed in detail, strictly considering the degree of compliance with transparency laws at both the state and Canary Islands Autonomous Community levels.

For the President of the Chamber, José Valle, this milestone represents the consolidation of an unwavering commitment to the environment: “This new 10 is the result of continuous effort to comply with transparency towards our companies, a value that we consider fundamental and important to guarantee the proper functioning of institutions and the use of public funds.”
