The Lanzarote Tourism Federation (FTL) has offered talks on entrepreneurship in the tourism sector to students of three Training Programs in Alternation with Employment (PFAE) in Lanzarote.
About 45 students from Certificates of Professionalism from the municipalities of Tías and San Bartolomé received specialized advice to guide their professional future.
The first talk, aimed at the "Creating Network" and "Clean Facilities" programs of San Bartolomé, took place on November 7; and the other, for the students of the PFAE of Puerto del Carmen "Web Turismo Tías 4.0", was held this Tuesday the 12th.
Both activities have been promoted by the Integral Service of Attention to the Tourist Entrepreneur, an initiative of the FTL in collaboration with the Employment area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
During the training sessions, the Lanzarote Tourism Federation announced the different services it makes available to entrepreneurs through its Entrepreneurship Support Service, which in addition to providing support and tourist, legal, fiscal and labor advice, also do so in other matters, such as sustainability, marketing strategies and digitization.
"From the Lanzarote Tourism Federation and specifically from the Integral Service of Attention to the Tourist Entrepreneur we put at the disposal of all entrepreneurs and businessmen of the tourism sector all our resources, which include the job board and a complete training catalog, designed to promote development and competitiveness in the sector".
"We want to motivate the students of these PFAES to explore and take advantage of the entrepreneurial potential that Lanzarote offers in the tourism sector, providing them with the necessary tools and confidence to shape their ideas," said the president of the FTL, Susana Pérez, who stressed the importance of "building an innovative and responsible local economy".
She also highlighted the importance of making these students aware of the support and advice provided by the FTL in terms of entrepreneurship, as it is a key opportunity to familiarize them with the resources at their disposal and empower them to undertake with security and knowledge.
