The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has reconsidered the heat warning for this Monday in Lanzaote and La Graciosa after the temperatures expected for this day, changing from yellow to orange warning from 11.59 hours until 19.59.

It is expected that on this day 38 degrees will be reached in points of both islands, especially in areas facing the east. In addition, it is not ruled out that 40 degrees will be reached locally

For this Tuesday, the warning is expected to be yellow, which means temperatures of up to 34 degrees.

In addition, this Monday the Government of the Canary Islands has lowered the maximum alert to alert due to high temperatures. The inland areas of the islands, including Lanzarote, midlands and highlands will be the most affected by high temperatures, while tropical nights, those above 20 degrees, will remain for the time being.
