Around thirty schools have participated in the sixth edition of the 'Bullying 1, 2, 3...action' project, which consists of a research and educational intervention project of a preventive nature against bullying, using theater as a pedagogical resource.

The educational project 'Bullying 1,2,3... action', promoted by the Cabildo de Lanzarote, through the Education Area, in collaboration with the La Caixa Foundation and the Mapfre Canarias Foundation, has allowed during this school year that "more than a thousand sixth-grade students", both from Lanzarote and La Graciosa, have become aware of one of the most serious problems in classrooms today, such as bullying and cyberbullying.

In this sense, the Minister of Education, Ascensión Toledo, explains that "the main objectives of this initiative are to strengthen educational spaces in the prevention and reduction of harassment, in addition to detecting possible cases of bullying and presenting theater as a pedagogical instrument that enables the development of emotional understanding in students".

Toledo affirms that "from education, prevention, intervention and monitoring, cases of bullying are reduced and healthier and more positive relationships are established among students".

During the different workshops, schoolchildren have the opportunity to work, through group dynamics, on the identification of emotions, active listening, or group cohesion. In addition, with the staging of a play, students visualize a situation of bullying and participate, actively, in the search for solutions.
