The Tías City Council has been present these days at Madrid Fusión, the first global gastronomy congress, "to support the gastronomic, oenological, commercial and hotel sector of the municipality."
The mayor, José Juan Cruz, has accompanied the representatives of Tías in Saborea Lanzarote with its slogan "Lanzarote, with fire and water". The Lanzarote stand received the visit of the Minister of Tourism, Reyes Maroto, and the company Primo de Lanzarote, the original vermouth from the Canary Islands.
José Juan Cruz highlighted the importance of these congresses to publicize the services and products of Lanzarote and the municipality of Tías. He thanked the representatives of the Martinón and Vulcano wineries, the Cangrejo Rojo and La Cascada restaurants, the Martínez Abolafio Group and the vermouth company Primo de Lanzarote, among others, for their presence at the fair.
"These meetings are always enriching, especially for professionals in the sector, who not only show their products, but also have the opportunity to see and perceive what is being done in different regions of Spain," said the first mayor of Tías.
José Juan Cruz visited the Lanzarote stand together with the president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, the island councilor of the Primary Sector, Andrés Stinga, and the mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez.
