The Tourist Centers have submitted the relevant documentation to the Haría City Council to adapt the route of the Insólita Cueva de los Verdes experience to the Classified Activities Law 7/2011.

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and of the Board of Directors of the Tourist Centers, María Dolores Corujo, explained that this "is an indispensable prior requirement for the launch of Insólita Cueva de los Verdes, a 'Premium' experience that will allow our visitors to discover magical and surprising areas of this volcanic tube, further away from the traditional visit route."

Insólita Cueva de los Verdes is an "exciting journey that invites you to explore the volcanism and geology of the Corona volcanic tube, formed approximately 21,000 years ago," say the Tourist Centers.

The experience will extend the route through the bowels of the cave to the vicinity of the Geodynamics station, one of the three permanent observation modules located on the island from which the planet's "pulse" is taken. Inside, there are equipment and systems that store fundamental data related to the study of geodesy and geophysics.

The 'Premium' visit will also reach the Refuge, a space where families hid from pirate attacks.

The CEO of the Tourist Centers, Benjamín Perdomo, recalled that "Insólita Cueva de los Verdes will join the 'Premium' experiences already operating in Montañas del Fuego, Jameos del Agua and Jardín de Cactus to surprise those who want to discover lesser-known corners of the work of César Manrique."
