Lanzarote's hotels achieve the highest occupancy in the Canary Islands in September

The average stay on the island was 7.2 days, the second longest in the archipelago, only behind Fuerteventura

Lanzarote's hotels achieved the highest occupancy in the archipelago last September with a rate of 75.6%, according to the latest survey by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) on this matter.

Next were Tenerife and Gran Canaria, whose hotels reached 74.8% and 73.1% occupancy respectively. In Fuerteventura it was 71.9%

The hotel establishments of La Gomera were at 59.5%, while in La Palma they remained at 45.8%. The survey does not include data for El Hierro. 

 

The average stay in Lanzarote, the second longest in the Canary Islands

The average duration of vacations for travelers who visited Lanzarote during last September reached 7.2 days. Only travelers who visited Fuerteventura in September, with an average of 7.7 days, stayed longer.

In Gran Canaria, the average stay was 6.7 days, while in Tenerife it remained at 6.2. Travelers who visited La Palma and La Gomera stayed on average 4.2 and 3.7 days respectively
