In the first three months of 2025, Lanzarote airport registered a total of 161,177 passengers from mainland airports, according to data provided by Aena.
This is a percentage increase of 3% compared to the 156,458 passengers registered in the same months of 2024. Almost 5,000 more passengers.
A clear contrast to last year's data, when there were seven months with fewer passengers than in 2023. The worst month was July, which recorded a fall of 12.5%.
The largest increase was recorded in January, which with 53,362 arrivals, was 4.9% more than was recorded in the same month last year.
Next, February, the month in which the year-on-year growth was 2.8% to a total of 51,088 passengers.
In March, despite not including Easter, there was also an increase. In this case more moderate, of 1.5%, with a total of 56,727 passengers.
