Without taking into account the December data, which is not yet available, Lanzarote has exceeded three million tourists in 2024.
Between January and November, 3,080,085 travelers arrived on the island, a historical record on the island. Never before have three million tourists been exceeded without counting the December data.
The number of tourists increased every month of 2024, except in July, which repeated the same figures, compared to 2023, which had already been a record year compared to previous years.

The month with the highest tourist influx in Lanzarote was March, the month in which more than 322,00 tourists arrived, 15.8% more than during the same month of the previous year.
Next, February, the month in which more than 300,000 arrivals were also exceeded, figures 15.8% higher than during the same month of 2023.
During each of the months of October (+5.6%) and November (+7.8%) the figures were about to reach 300,000 tourists and were higher than during the summer months.
In July 2024, 275,363 tourists arrived, practically the same as those who visited the island in the same month of the previous year. It is very possible that the stagnation in July is due to the sharp fall of peninsular tourism experienced during the summer.
In August, on the other hand, arrivals increased by 4.3% compared to the same month of 2023, but with 287,000 arrivals it was below the winter and autumn figures mentioned above.
