Iberia Express and the ferry booking platform Ferryhopper have signed an agreement to facilitate intermodal transport in the islands, offering the possibility of booking maritime transport on the airline's website as well.
From now on, according to the Hosteltur news portal, travelers will be able to search through Iberia Express for ferry tickets to reach those island destinations without an airport as one of the complements to their trip, beyond the destination where they land.
In this way, a traveler who flies to Lanzarote can search for their boat ticket to La Graciosa on the same website where they bought their plane ticket. The same happens with tourists who are going to land in Tenerife, but their final destination is La Gomera and El Hierro.
With this agreement, Iberia Express customers will benefit from the offer of national and European destinations marketed by Ferryhopper, which currently works with 52 shipping companies and is present in 10 countries, including Spain.
