The air capacity to fly to the Canary Islands from now until the end of the year increases by an average of 13%, according to the tourism news portal Hosteltur based on data from the tourism intelligence company Mabrián.
Specifically, with the British market, capacity increases by 12%, while the search intention of British travelers to the Canary Islands increases by three percentage points, registering a search index of 17.4%.
Last year, 5.7 million British people arrived in the Canary Islands, traveling primarily with Jet2.com, followed by Ryanair and Easyjet.
In addition to the increase in air capacity from the United Kingdom, the increase in supply from the Nordic countries also stands out for the last quarter of the year. Especially from Sweden, which rises above the average, by 15%, while Norway matches the British increase by 12%, according to Mabrian data.
The inspirational demand from the Nordic countries for the analyzed dates also increases.
