Binter Airlines restarted this Thursday its international route connecting Banjul (BJL) with the Canary archipelago, specifically with the island of Gran Canaria. This is a journey of approximately two and a half hours that will have only one frequency per week.

From this June 23, the Canary Islands will be connected to Gambia every Thursday with a flight that will depart from Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) at 23:00 hours to land in Banjul (BJL) at 00:40 on Friday. From there it will take off again at 01:40 to land on the island at 05:10 hours.

Likewise, Binter has also indicated that next Tuesday, July 5, the airline will operate the first flight of the route that reconnects the Canary Islands with Sal (SID), in Cape Verde. The departure will be on Tuesdays at 23:00 hours and the return at 00:35 on Wednesdays.

Ten routes in West Africa

On the other hand, the company has announced that it will connect the Canary Islands with ten destinations in West Africa this summer. In addition to the routes it already operates with Marrakech, Agadir, Guelmim, El Aaiún, Dakhla, Nouakchott and Dakar, flights to Banjul and Sal Island in Cape Verde are now added, and from July 2, with Fez.

In addition, the airline is launching a new route outside the Canary Islands this summer, which will connect Marrakech and Madeira, as a result of the joint work between Binter and the National Tourist Office of Morocco (ONMT).

Tickets can now be purchased through the usual sales channels, either through the website, the app, travel agencies or Binter's contact telephone number 922/928 32 77 00.
