Hotel Investment Partners (HIP) and Barceló Hotel Group have announced the opening of the second and final phase of the Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort after an investment exceeding 34 million euros, with the objective of becoming a "European benchmark for active tourism," as published by the Hosteltur portal.
It should be remembered that the first phase of this four-star hotel, located on Ancla beach in Costa Teguise, was already inaugurated last February, but now the opening of 100% of its facilities has been confirmed after a comprehensive renovation, with sports, gastronomic and leisure offerings.
The Lanzarote Active Resort is the first resort of this category in the HIP portfolio, a complex with 814 rooms, of which 148 have Royal Level status with exclusive services.
In addition, it is characterized by its range of sports facilities, with a 50m heated Olympic swimming pool, high-performance gym, professional cycling center, as well as direct access to the beach for open water swimming or other water sports such as surfing, windsurfing or kitesurfing.
