Rentals are approaching their historical maximum in Arrecife, with the square meter at 8.8 euros

Rentals continue to rise in Arrecife and are increasingly close to reaching their historical maximum, with a price of 8.8 euros per square meter, according to the price report of Idealista.

Specifically, prices register an increase of 6.3% in just one month (8.3 euros) and 13.3% if compared to the same period of 2021, when a figure of 7.8 euros was recorded. 

It should be remembered that the data has been on an upward trend since April, but has not yet managed to exceed the record figure reached in October 2019, with the square meter at 8.9 euros

In addition, living in the center of the capital implies a price increase of up to 1.2 euros more, since the cost revolves around 10 euros, 24.6% more than a year ago.

In the Canary Islands as a whole, the price of rentals has remained unchanged in the month of July, with the square meter at 11.1 euros, so it continues to mark its historical maximum. In addition, if compared to July 2021, the cost has risen by 11%, since at that time it marked a price of 10 euros.

By provinces, Santa Cruz de Tenerife has also registered a record figure, with the square meter at 10 euros, 0.8% more than in June and 9.2% more than a year ago. In the case of the province of Las Palmas, rentals rise to 11.8% euros per square meter, 0.1% less than the previous month and 11.9% more expensive than in July 2021.
