The scarcity of rental housing in Lanzarote means that the few ads on the idealista.com real estate portal with apartments for rent receive hundreds of visits and are among the most viewed in the Canary Islands.

For example, this Wednesday, January 8, the ad for a duplex in Marina Rubicón, in Playa Blanca, is being the most viewed ad in the province of Las Palmas. That is, no rental property in Gran Canaria or Fuerteventura accumulates more visits than the aforementioned duplex.

The ad for this 140 square meter property has received more than 1,500 visits and the real estate agency that manages it, hundreds of emails, since its first publication on January 3.

According to the ad, the house, which is rented for 1,200 euros per month, has two bathrooms, a fireplace, a swimming pool and a barbecue with an oven on a large terrace, as well as an outdoor garage.  The apartment is on the first floor, is interior and does not have an elevator.

The advertiser highlights that "the house is located five minutes from the marina and ten minutes from the center of Playa Blanca."

Currently there are just over 50 ads for rental properties in Lanzarote and most of them are advertised for seasonal rentals.
