Casa Tomaren, an 18th-century estate located in the natural park of La Geria and which includes 11 luxury villas, has gone on sale on Idealista for 6 million euros.
The complex extends over an area of 120,000 m2 and its architecture has influences from the Canarian, Moroccan and Indonesian tradition, with a swimming pool, bar, Balinese beds and a hot tub. Each of the villas, located on a plot of 12 hectares of land, has its own decoration and includes a kitchen, terrace and private garden. Between them they add up to 18 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms.
Casa Tomaren has been a holiday home for several personalities. Among them, according to La Provincia, the former British Prime Minister David Cameron, who stayed there during his first vacation in Lanzarote, during Easter Week 2014, two years before the Brexit referendum was held.
The owner of Casa Tomaren, Pastora Martín, described him as "a nice, kind man, not at all a diva and a very natural person." She also said that "Cameron never gave any problems and never complained about anything."
Idealista has calculated the mortgage for the purchase of the property with a saving contributed of 1,800,000 euros, that is, 30% of the total. For a mortgage of 4,591,993 euros over 30 years, the monthly amount to pay would be 21,398 euros, according to Idealista's calculations, which has estimated it at 391,993 euros.
