The Lanzarote Council participates in the II Livestock and Fisheries Fair of Teguise in which it will value the primary sector of the Island, through the promotion of agriculture, fishing and livestock, as well as gastronomy with different workshops, organized in collaboration with Saborea Lanzarote and the Insular Agrarian Service.
The Councilor for the Primary Sector, Andrés Stinga, explains that the Council will have a 500 square meter stand that can be visited until next Sunday, March 26, in which local products and the way they are obtained will be made visible and various activities will be carried out for all ages.
In addition, Stinga highlighted the importance of betting on the sector and promoting zero kilometer products, due to the relevant role it plays in the development of Lanzarote's economy.
During the days there will be experiential tours, which will be attended by more than 2,000 boys and girls, in which the youngest will be brought closer to the work of the sector, its applications and will learn first-hand about the products of the Island.
The Fair can be visited until Sunday, March 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., except on Sunday, which will close at 4:00 p.m.
