The Cabildo of Lanzarote has opened the deadline for the selection process through the opposition system for the constitution of the extraordinary reserve lists of public employment in the categories of caregiver and caretaker.
Aspirants have a period of ten business days from its publication, on December 12, to submit their corresponding applications electronically through the web portal.
President Oswaldo Betancort declares that "for the provision of quality public services that meet the needs of citizens, it is convenient and necessary that we have sufficient reserve lists to cover the transitional personnel needs, especially in the provision of services aimed at improving the welfare and quality of life of the population of Lanzarote."
The Minister of Human Resources, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, states that "these lists are subject to the non-existence of reserve lists for certain specialties within the Administration." "We seek to effectively meet the needs and demands of care services for people," he concludes.
The personnel selection procedures for these positions will be public and will be governed by the principles of equality, merit and capacity. The selected individuals will perform their functions on a temporary basis.
