The Department of Education and Cultural Action (DEAC) of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers has just released a children's passport to certify visits to the different works created by the multidisciplinary artist César Manrique in Lanzarote. Jameos del Agua, the Cueva de Los Verdes, the Mirador del Río, Montañas del Fuego, the Jardín de Cactus, the Casa-Museo del Campesino, the Islote de Fermina, and the Museo Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo will be the spaces that will have the possibility of dispensing stickers so that minors can stamp their artistic passport.
This passport is a turquoise blue document that is available from this Monday at the entrances of each of the Tourist Centers. In it, boys and girls can fill in their information, draw themselves for correct identification, and collect the stickers from each visited space designed for the occasion. They can also illustrate their experience and share it on social media by tagging @centrosturisticoslanzarote.
"This is an initiative with which we want them to learn to know and love the Tourist Centers, and help them build an island identity; an enjoyable and educational way to discover the artistic legacy that César Manrique left on Lanzarote," explained the Entity's counselor, Ángel Vázquez.
