Turismo Lanzarote and the company Logitravel.com have started a co-marketing campaign with the insertion of a promotion of the island as a tourist destination on the cover of the newspaper El País, in its edition of last Saturday, June 30. This is the first action of a campaign that involves the presence of the island's tourist offer in some of the main national newspapers.
In addition, this advertising can be seen on the main online pages of this company, in different banners, in waits and displays, and through a valance in the newsletter of the monthly newsletters sent by Logitravel.com to travel agencies in Italy, France or Portugal. At the same time, Logitravel.com guarantees the dissemination of the Lanzarote product through its own blog, which is updated daily and has an average of 300 readings per post.
The advertising will also be part of the social networks used by Logitravel.com and rotating banners will be launched in different digital media. "Up to more than 22 million impressions, between own websites and external networks certified by Logitravel.com", the Cabildo has indicated in a statement.
The objectives of this initiative are to publicize the charms of Lanzarote and the events of all kinds that take place on the island and increase sales of the island as a unique tourist destination. Logitravel.com is considered among the five most powerful Spanish online travel agencies, according to the Cabildo.
"This campaign aims to boost and activate the national market in the face of the incipient summer campaign, showing the charms and wonders of Lanzarote to those who have not yet chosen the place to spend their holidays", said the Minister of Tourism, Carmen Steinert.
