Toyota Lanzarote, in collaboration with the Canary Islands Automotive Federation (Fecanauto), has reached an agreement through which it will provide a Toyota Prius to carry out an advertising campaign, which aims to fight against the illegal sale of vehicles. This initiative will last fifteen days.
The automotive sector of Lanzarote wants to fight against this phenomenon, which represents a great unfair competition. The characteristic landscape of the island has been chosen to carry out this campaign at the end of the year in the media.
The head of Fecanauto, José Manuel Martín Toledo, has thanked Automóviles Lanzarote for this gesture in such a "complicated" moment. In addition, he has asked for support from companies in the sector so that, together, they can compensate for "the great losses" they have suffered.
