Lanzarote residents who want to visit Málaga during this summer are in luck. They will be able to choose between ten weekly direct flights, four more than were available last year around the same dates.

Picasso's hometown will be this summer the fourth best connected city on the peninsula with Lanzarote and the one that gains the most flights. Only surpassed by Madrid (39 direct flights a week), Barcelona (17), and about to reach Seville, which will have 11 direct flights.

Specifically, the airline Ryanair will offer five weekly flights to Málaga instead of the two that were available last summer. They are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

In addition, Vueling adds one more flight to the operation with Málaga up to five weekly, in contrast to last summer, when it scheduled four. They will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Málaga is the big beneficiary of the expansion of flights with the peninsula this summer, which goes from 100 direct flights last year to 106 for the summer season of 2025.
