The Commercial Zone of Tinajo celebrated last Wednesday, July 26, the dynamization campaign of local commerce for 'Grandparents' Day', organized by the City Council of Tinajo and Felapyme.
Grandparents and grandchildren were able to enjoy as a family the extensive program of activities designed to have fun together with the local commerce of the municipality. Precisely, the objective of this pioneering proposal in Lanzarote was "to promote and support local commerce in the municipality, to enjoy a day full of fun, music and a good atmosphere", always linking all the actions with the merchants of Tinajo, who were the protagonists of a day also dedicated to "favoring the relationship between consumers and establishments, improving the shopping experience and building customer loyalty", informs Felapyme.
"A proposal to promote and support local commerce in the municipality and enjoy a day full of fun, music and good atmosphere"
In that sense, a great raffle was organized to reward customers who consumed in Tinajo during the month of July, with six vouchers of 50 euros to consume in local commerce, a lunch and dinner valued at 80 euros to exchange in the restoration, cut and hairstyle or a fantastic handmade portrait. In total, prizes valued at more than 450 euros were awarded.
In addition, we had the first grandparents and grandchildren ball championship which was a success in attendance with a prize for the winners. In short, a success in participation that had the satisfaction of merchants and residents and that aims to be an incentive to continue revitalizing the area in different campaigns aimed at favoring and supporting local commerce in the municipality.
"We especially appreciate the involvement of the Mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, for always collaborating in all initiatives aimed at improving the commerce of the municipality and the councilors of commerce, Vianney Rodríguez, and the elderly, Macarena Olivero, for their support and dedication and invite all of Lanzarote to continue enjoying the activities that continue until August 20 on the occasion of the San Roque festivities," concludes the federation.
