Until the end of October, a total of 5,379 vehicles have been registered in Lanzarote, 6% more than were registered last year during the same period.
The information has been published by the Lanzarote Data Center based on figures from the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC) and the General Directorate of Traffic.
The increase in registrations during the month of October has been particularly large, with 504 vehicles registered, 19.4% more than in October 2022, when 387 registrations occurred.
Also during the summer there was a large increase in the number of registrations, which almost doubled compared to the previous year at the beginning of the summer season.
Nationally, vehicle registrations last October grew by 19.88% compared to the same month in 2022.
In total, 94,644 cars were registered in Spain in October and in the last twelve months 1.1 million new cars have been sold, 15.17% more than the previous year.
