Between January and June of this year, a total of 3,005 vehicles have been registered in Lanzarote, 4.5% less than those registered in the same period last year.
The municipality with the most vehicles registered during the first semester, a total of 785, has been San Bartolomé, while the second place has corresponded to Arrecife with 768 vehicles.
Next, Tías and Yaiza, where 490 and 485 automobiles have been registered respectively.
In Teguise, registrations have amounted to a total of 291, while in Tinajo there have been 127 vehicles. Haría closes the list, where 59 registrations were recorded.
Most are passenger cars
The vast majority of vehicles registered in the first semester of the year in Lanzarote have been passenger cars, specifically, 2,206.
399 motorcycles and 128 vans have also been registered on the island. Mixed adaptable vehicles have amounted to 92.
Between January and June, 28 trucks, 27 SUVs and 18 buses were also registered.
