Arrecife will be filled with cruise passengers this Thursday. Five ships, as well as another called "the cruise of the rich", will stop in the capital throughout the day. "It is a very important day for the capital," said the president of the Lanzarote Chamber of Commerce, José Torres.
Specifically, the Arrecife port will receive the visit this Thursday of the Aidablu cruise ship, with 1,596 passengers, as well as the Braemar, with 750 people, the Queen Victoria 2 with 1,990 tourists and Balmoral with 1,340. These ships have been arriving throughout the day at the port facility and will leave around 6:00 p.m.
In addition, the Aida Vita will also arrive at the port of Arrecife, with about 2,000 passengers. This ship, which will enter the port at night, had its docking scheduled for Friday, but has modified its schedule due to the forecast of bad weather.
And, in addition, the port of Arrecife will host the arrival of a star ship. The ship "The World", known as "the cruise of the rich", will also visit the capital of Lanzarote. This ship only brings 280 passengers, all of them very wealthy.
As explained by the Chamber of Commerce, the ship will arrive around 12:00 noon and will anchor, since it does not have a berth until 6:00 p.m. This cruise will remain in port until Friday at 12:00 a.m.
Councilor Rafael González Robayna has also valued this arrival of cruises and has assured that "everything that is happening in Arrecife is very interesting", where "an effort" is being made so that the capital has "the activities that any city of this size requires."
