The company Conforama España S.A., dedicated to the sale of furniture, home equipment, appliances and electronics, wants to establish itself in Playa Honda. The license application was published this Monday in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, through the General Directorate of Commerce and Consumption.
The establishment would open its doors between Caldero and Los Corralitos streets in the industrial area of Playa Honda, where Megacentro was located. According to the announcement published in the BOC, the useful exhibition and sales area would be 3,733 square meters.
From the publication in the Official Gazette, a period of 20 days is opened in which it will be subject to public display and open to the possible presentation of allegations. The documentation will be available to interested parties at the General Directorate of Commerce and Consumption of the Government of the Canary Islands and at the facilities of the San Bartolomé City Council.
Meanwhile, according to the councilor of San Bartolomé Alexis Tejera, Conforama would already be starting to look for workers for this new establishment in Lanzarote.
