Cicar?Grupo Cabrera Medina and the associations Auto Taxis de Arrecife, Ajey Tamia and Cooperativa del Taxi de Lanzarote, signed a collaboration agreement through which Cicar transfers at no cost to the group of taxi professionals the use of the Lanzarote audio guide, which the group recently presented.
Mamerto Cabrera Cabrera, representing Cicar, and Manuel Guillén Guerra, Miguel González Brito and Leocadio Martín Felipe, representing the professional taxi associations, were in charge of signing the agreement, in an act that was held at the headquarters of the Cabrera Medina Group in Playa Honda.
The Lanzarote audio guide is a work that the different departments of the company have been developing in recent months and receives its musical setting, photographs and design from the Lanzarote artist Idelfonso Aguilar, the texts by Mario Alberto Perdomo and the narration by Fernando Delgado. In it, the tourist who visits us and who will travel the island in a rental vehicle from Cabrera Medina or Cicar is welcomed to the Island. It continues with a complete introduction to Lanzarote and includes all the information on the points of interest to visit during your vacation. In addition, it provides an explanatory review of the seven municipalities of the Island.
Now, Lanzarote taxi drivers will be able to use the Lanzarote audio guide as a support tool in their work, which also includes a map that has been redesigned and updated.
With the use of the Lanzarote audio guide, both Cicar?Grupo Cabrera Medina and the Taxi Associations signing this agreement try to contribute to spreading the cultural and natural values of the Island among users who are inclined to rent a car or take a taxi to travel and get to know it, and in which the legacy of César Manrique is very present.
Likewise, with this service, both parties try to favor a better interpretation of Lanzarote, by incorporating the varied leisure offer, both public and private, that Lanzarote has, in addition to advice for the conservation of the Island and its environment.
