Lanzarote airport received this Tuesday for the first time the landing of what has become one of the emblematic models of the American manufacturer Boeing, the B-787 Dreamliner. Operated by the company TUI Airlines Nederland, the flight that came from Amsterdam with a stopover in Fuerteventura, with 204 passengers on board, landed around 7:00 p.m. at the Guacimeta airport.

The B-787 Dreamliner, which will be the aircraft used by the company on the triangular route between Amsterdam-Fuerteventura-Lanzarote-Amsterdam during November and December, has dimensions of 57 meters in length, 60 in wingspan and 17 in height, larger than the B-757 and B-767 models, which are common on routes to Lanzarote.
This Boeing model incorporates important technological advances that allow it to increase fuel consumption efficiency, 20 percent less, and with its aerodynamic design it reduces the impact on the environment.
