Bodegas El Grifo has won two gold medals in the XIII edition of the international The World of Malvasía competition for its aged sweet wine references, Malvasía Canari, and its natural sparkling wine Brut Nature Reserva 2016.
This is the "most important competition" for Malvasía worldwide, thanks to its wide collection of references, its commitment to the peculiarities and qualities of the different native varieties of this type of grape, as well as showing the latest trends in its production.
The event, organized by Vinistra, the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Istria and the Region of Istria, took place on April 6 and 7 in the city of Parenzo, in Croatia.
The Regulatory Council of the D.O. Vinos de Lanzarote wanted to congratulate Bodegas El Grifo "for highlighting the undisputed quality of Lanzarote wines in a competition of such international importance".
