CONSOLIDATE

Thirteen companies from Lanzarote are participating in this tenth edition of the Consolidate Program aimed at businesses that are less than five years old since their creation.

A team of consultants, highly specialized in different areas of business management, provide advice to the participants. This is an intense individual and personalized mentoring to settle some parts of the business that may be more neglected. As a result of this work, strategy reports are prepared, which include the strengths and weaknesses of each project. An action plan is also developed to help them in the process of consolidating their companies.

The purpose is to improve business management

'Consolidate' seeks to promote projects that have a certain trajectory and are at a key moment to take a new leap. The program consists of several phases ranging from an open conference in online format, to the delivery of the technical report to each company. Along the way, they have a group workshop in which everyone meets and the contents of the business training and individual sessions with the consultants are presented.

The most valued part of the program is the mentoring, in which each specialist analyzes, in a personalized way with the company, the business procedures. These consultancies address different areas of business management, with special attention to finance or taxation, but also to corporate image, marketing strategy or communication.

Increase the survival of companies

The first years of a company's creation are especially sensitive, since only 3 out of 10 companies manage to overcome the first five years. Therefore, this type of individual mentoring is of vital importance to increase the survival of the Canarian business fabric.

The consultancies are free for companies, since the "Company Mentoring Program, Consolidate" is co-financed by the Chamber of Commerce, the Government of the Canary Islands and the FEDER Canary Islands Funds.

More than one hundred companies have participated since 2011

With this edition, there are already 133 projects that have participated since the beginning of the company mentoring program "Consolidate".

The "Consolidate" Company Mentoring program is possible thanks to the General Directorate of Economic Promotion and Diversification of the Ministry of Economy, Knowledge and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands and the co-financing of the FEDER Canary Islands operational program.
