Manu Liria, born on March 22, 1979 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is today one of the most recognized chefs in the island.
From a very young age he became interested in gastronomy, making culinary art his great passion.
He completed his studies for four years in one of the best hospitality schools in Barcelona, Hofmann, through which prestigious chefs such as David Gil, Josep María Rodríguez or Fran López have passed. Once he finished his training, he was transferred to do an internship at a Michelin-starred restaurant, the London `Gaudí´.
After this period in British lands, the young chef Manu Liria decided to deepen his training by traveling through different parts of the world, such as Sydney, New York, Madrid, London, Ibiza and, finally, Lanzarote.
His proposal is characterized by a fusion of culinary styles from different cultures, in order to promote a gastronomy recreated in the mixture of representative ingredients from other countries.
After 20 years of acquiring knowledge and applying the techniques obtained, chef Manu Liria decides to return to the Canary Islands. In Amura he exhibits his creative capacity by fusing Canarian cuisine with culinary styles from different cultures (Moroccan, Indian, Japanese).
At Amura you will enjoy a multicultural market cuisine with touches of trend!!.
