More than fifty new businesses have been created through the Single Business Window (VUE) of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa since it was created a year ago.
The Single Window of the Chamber facilitates the creation of companies for new entrepreneurs, who previously to its creation, had to do procedures in at least four different public institutions.
Currently, all the procedures for registering economic activity can be done through the VUE, which is financed by the General Directorate of Economic Promotion, of the Ministry of Economy, Knowledge and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the ERDF Funds and the Cabildo of Lanzarote. The program also has the collaboration of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism that offers the PAE Network tool.
For the moment, the assistance is limited to the procedures for registering as individual entrepreneurs and professionals, although it is planned to include other legal forms such as the Limited Company in the coming months and other outstanding services for starting economic activity. The processing process is telematic and it is essential to request an appointment in advance.
