Jose Carlos Díez and José Valle complete the Global South Forum

The Forum dedicated to tourism will be held on Friday, November 15 at the Castillo de San José in Arrecife, will be inaugurated by President Clavijo and includes Antonio Catalán, Inmaculada Benito and Oswaldo Betancort

The economist José Carlos Díez and the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, José Valle, complete the panel of speakers of the 5th edition of the Global South Forum. Díez and Valle together with Inmaculada Benito, director of the Tourism, Culture and Sports department of the CEOE, Oswaldo Betancort, president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Antonio Catalán, president of AC Hoteles by Marriott and Fernando Clavijo, president of the Government of the Canary Islands who will inaugurate the day, integrate a top-level event that will be held this Friday, November 15, at the Castillo de San José in Arrecife, under the title of "The challenges of tourism."

Registrations will be made at 09:20 hours to start the event at 09:40 with the inauguration of the president of the Government of the Canary Islands. Subsequently, the talks of Antonio Catalán, Inmaculada Benito and José Carlos Díez will begin. Finally, the session will be completed with the round table where Oswaldo Betancort and José Valle will be added, and questions from the attendees will be asked.

The forum will be closed by Jacobo Medina, vice president of the Cabildo, to later enjoy a cocktail, where guests and speakers can exchange impressions.

Attendance to the event is free until full capacity and registration can be done on the event website

The forum is sponsored by Turismo Lanzarote, Arts, Culture and Tourism Centers, the Government of the Canary Islands and Cicar, collaborates the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa and as the main partner is the media group Lanzarote Media.
