HiperDino allocates 500 million euros annually to local industry

HiperDino is working on more than 25 new store projects for the next three years and, in parallel, continues to carry out comprehensive renovation work in its establishments and the installation of new photovoltaic plants.

Specifically, they seek to adapt their establishments to the company's new image, with accessible facilities and measures in favor of sustainability, as well as new services to improve the customer's shopping experience.

With 231 stores, the 100% Canarian supermarket chain is committed to the economic and business fabric of the Canary Islands, allocating more than 500 million euros each year in purchases to local industry, becoming the company that "generates the most jobs" in the archipelago, with 8,280 employees.

Support for local products

Its support for local products and Canarian brands translates into 40% of the products it sells being from Canarian suppliers and 3,000 references corresponding to products purchased in the islands.

The wide assortment, variety, quality and freshness of the products are some of the advantages of buying in any of the establishments of its three brands: HiperDino, SuperDino and HiperDino Express, as well as in its online shopping channel.

Likewise, its philosophy of low and competitive prices has contributed to making HiperDino the chain, as its slogan says, with "the best prices in the Canary Islands". To ensure this, a team of professionals daily reviews 12,000 products from the competition and, in parallel, the company negotiates with suppliers to have the best possible conditions, offering the customer a lower price.

Your online shopping strategy

HiperDino's commitment to e-commerce intensified in the context of Covid and, in just four months, the chain closed two of its physical stores to the public, in Gran Canaria and Tenerife, to convert them into dark stores.

Currently, it is the only chain in the Archipelago to have two centers closed to the public to prepare online orders, and each month about 15,000 purchases made through the website hiperdino.es and the HiperDino App are prepared.

This has allowed it to position itself as a leading company in the distribution sector in the Canary Islands.
