Maritime Rescue has rescued on Sunday afternoon an injured crew member on the ferry Villa de Tazacorte that connects the Gran Canaria - Cádiz route, as published by the entity on its profile of X.
The vessel was located 225 miles from Lanzarote and requested the evacuation of the injured person, so Maritime Rescue mobilized the Helimer 205 helicopter from Gran Canaria.
After taking off from the Gran Canaria airport, refueled at Lanzarote Airport.
Upon arriving at the area where the ferry was, the Helimer 205 positioned itself vertically next to the ship and hoisted the injured woman to then evacuate her directly to the hospital.
